Luxury amidst the fiords

Fiordland - 6 Nights

Explore Doubtful, Breaksea and Dusky Sounds, including Preservation and Chalky Inlets, aboard MV Fiordland Jewel

Soak in the atmosphere and pristine wilderness of New Zealand’s largest National Park on this six-night expedition. Part of the Te Wahipounamu World Heritage site, Fiordland’s Doubtful, Breaksea and Dusky Sounds are rich in history and spectacular scenery. Experience the area’s native birds and sea life up close and personal, with opportunities for kayaking, short walks and fishing to catch a feed, if you so wish, from our purpose-built catamaran, the Fiordland Jewel.

With a maximum of just 18 passengers on board, there will be many opportunities to soak up stories of the area from our knowledgeable crew, and to take in breathtaking vistas from the deck or from any of our nine climate-controlled cabins, all of which have sea views and private ensuites. Relax in the hot tub on the top deck and enjoy all your meals prepared by our talented on-board chef, with seafood/kaimoana pulled fresh from the surrounding waters.

Individual cabins can be booked for yourself, your small group of family and friends, or as a couple, for an experience you’ll be talking about for years to come.

We recently sailed on Fiordland Jewel and it was a truly amazing experience. We highly recommend Fiordland Discovery and the Fiordland Jewel. It is a great way to discover one of the most beautiful parts of Aotearoa/New Zealand - indeed the world. The scenery is amazing - whether wet or fine!! Great walks along the way - and yes boots are dried and warm for the next adventure! Thank you to the crew for the wonderful insights into the history, stories, food and outings on the tender.

Neil and Greg, Greytown, New Zealand

It was our first ever cruise and was Fiordland Jewel's first trip post Covid-19 lockdown. What an incredible trip!! Rob and his crew were excellent and well prepared for cleaning and sanitizing as we travelled. He and skipper Dave were so knowledgeable about the Fiords and everything there is to see and do. Amazing sea life - we saw humpback whales, dolphins, seals and a wide range of sea birds. Exploring the islands and bush was fantastic too. And the helicopter trip off the boat, incredible! Anyone considering a multi-night Fiordland trip, seriously consider Fiordland Discovery! They know their stuff!

Ben, Tauranga, New Zealand

Thank you Rob ,Tulli, Ben and Jack for looking after us on what was a most amazing cruise in Fiordland.
Crayfish, Blue cod, Terakihi , all served up to us and then the most amazing scenery was thrown in for good measure.
Truly an adventure we will not forget and are now sharing our photos and memories with our friends.
